CHURCHES
Our churches are not extravagant. They are simple and
functional, but also beautiful in the way that reflects that we are
conscientious about serving God even in the little details. We use
volunteer labor from the members for much of our construction; when we must
hire contractors, we do things as efficiently as possible, to be good
stewards of the Lord's resources.
We centralize the decisions about buying property or
constructing buildings - individual pastors or congregations do not make
the decisions alone, but rather approach these matters as part of the
larger Body.
We do not collect offerings in our public services or ask
the members to contribute money as part of a fundraiser for the building.
Instead, all our churches pool their resources so that each congregation
receives what it truly needs at the right time.
